Formed in August 1999, three months later this 5 piece Celtic-jazz-funk band were finalists in the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Awards. The members of the band are Phillippe Barnes (22) Flute, Ben Lee (22) - violin, Oli Briant (21) - Guitar, Andre Fry (23) - Bass, Ollie Boorman (22) - Drums. All Jigged Out's sound has influences from Irish, Scottish and World music, fused together with Jazz, Funk and Classical music, yet it has its own individual identity. Folk News described them variously as an unforgettable experience and Hot Talent.

Performances all over England include BBC Radio Three, Brighton - Komedia, Newcastle Theatre Live, Edinburgh Festival (Bedlam Theatre), Ripon Racecourse for the Millennium Celebrations, the Southern FM Stage on New Year's Eve in Brighton, and at the Beach Dream and Adur Festivals.

All Jigged Out's First Album will be available in summer 2003.
