The Ovid Ensemble is an exciting young chamber group with a line-up that provides a rich and varied repertoire and ensembles of varying sizes. Prize-winners of the Anglo-Czech Chamber Music Award and selected by the Tunnell Trust, their recent appearances include the Purcell Room, Bridgewater Hall and Wigmore Hall. This summer they were Ensemble in residence at the Presteigne Festival and broadcast regularly on Radio 3 and S4C.

The Ovid Ensemble prides itself on diverse programming, combining well-known pieces with rarely heard works and new commissions. Their performances can include quintets, quartets and trios in the same programme. To accommodate smaller music clubs and very small venues, the ensemble can be booked as a quintet, a quartet or a trio. Ovid Ensemble has undertaken educational concerts with Live Music Now! and can offer schools' concerts, family concerts or short workshops or demonstrations either on the day of the concert or on another occasion.
